The .globo domain will be specific created to concentrate all contents generated by Organizações Globo. In this first transaction moment the focus will be the Globo TV and Globo.com, but in the mid-term all contents from a Globo brand will be under .globo domain.
We will create a new Globo house on the internet! As today, we will produce specific contents for the digital channel and adapt our wide content range to the internet. In this way Globo will attest the content origin under .globo avoiding cybersquat⁄cybersquatting and frauds.
We also wish to have a competitive advantage front of our competitors with the ultimate goal to be the first domain name for news and entertainment on the internet in Brazil.
The .globo domain management will be in charge of Organizações Globo and private individuals wonʹt be allowed to registering.
