The STADA community derives from the producer of health care and pharmaceuticals goods, STADA Arzneimittel AG. The STADA community members are STADA Arzneimittel AG and its globally affiliated companies in which STADA Arzneimittel AG holds a majority interest as published in the annual report.

The STADA community is well-organized, STADA Arzneimittel AG’s is run by an Executive Board, which comprises of the three directors Mr. Hartmut Retzlaff (Chair), Mr. Helmut Kraft and Dr Axel Müller and the Board of Directors, which comprises of Dr. Martin Abend, Chairman, Manfred Krueger, Deputy Chairman, Dr. Eckhard Brueggemann, Heike Ebert, Dr. K.F. Arnold Hertzsch, Dieter Koch, Constantin Meyer, Carl Ferdinand Oetker, Karin Schoepper. In addition an Advisory Board gives non-binding recommendations to the Executive Board, it consists of pharmacists, managers and physicians.

STADA is represented worldwide by 54 sales companies in 33 countries and has production sites in 9 countries. STADA Arzneimittel AG fully owns these affiliates or at least holds a majority interest in them. In total, STADA globally produces and⁄or distributes their health care and pharmaceuticals goods in more than 52 countries. More than 7900 employees work at STADA community members.

STADA Arzneimittel AG – respectively its predecessor– and thereby the community has been founded back in 1895. The duration of the Company is not restricted to a certain period, but of a long-lasting nature.
