18(c) What operating rules will you adopt to eliminate or minimize social costs?

Prototypical answer:

i. Multiple applications for a particular domain name will be resolved by first-come, first-serve. However the only eligible registrant will be Schaeffler. Since all domain names are registered for Schaeffler as the domain name owner, transfers are not allowed.

ii. Since all domain name are exclusively registered and maintained by Schaeffler there are no cost benefits.

iii. All domain names are exclusively registered and maintained by Schaeffler. Schaeffler does not plan to make contractual commitments to registrants with regards to price increases or decreases, domain names will be sold to the only registrant – Schaeffler – for a price which will be defined on the discretion of the Registry. Schaeffler will comply with the rules ICANN set up in the New gTLD Registry Agreement for price increases. Domain names can be registered for periods of 1 to 10 years at the discretion of the registrar.
